What is Carbon Monoxide?

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a highly poisonous gas that has no taste, colour or smell. It can be produced by gas appliances, heating and cooking systems, vehicle engines, fuels and blocked chimneys.

The Quell PD04 detects the presence of carbon monoxide and provides an early warning when dangerous levels are detected. A CO alarm is designed to supplement a smoke alarm, not replace one.

LED Indicators

• Green LED: Flashes every 30 seconds to indicate normal operation.
