BAINTECH Bluetooth Wireless Battery Monitor

FLAT $8.30 POSTAGE AUSTRALIA WIDE APPLIES ON THIS PRODUCT

The BAINTECH Bluetooth Battery Monitor is the easiest way to check the health of any vehicles battery, starter and charging system. The BAINTECH Bluetooth Battery Monitor is a simple...easy to fit accessory that monitors your vehicle's current battery charge level and relays this information to your Android or iOS smart device or phone. You can test your vehicle's cranking system, record your trip duration and display and store historical data, all with your mobile phone!

Another very useful feature is the Deep Cycle State of Charge Notification: Two adjustable State of Charge alarms (defaults are 50% and 70%) to let you know when your deep cycle battery AGM, GEL, Lead Crystal is getting to dangerously low levels. A must have for your 4wd, Caravan, Boat, Camper Trailers and more.

Multiple battery monitors can be named and monitored from the one device, so you can keep an eye on an entire family of cars, check that second battery in your dual battery setup or even the one in your caravan. The battery monitor has the ability to check the vehicle charging system voltage, to give an early indication of any alternator issues if the vehicle battery is going flat when it shouldn't. You can setup notifications for periodic notifications of your batteries condition and even schedule regular tests to check your batteries integrity.

Also using the App you can perform a crank test, this will test the voltage level during the start sequence of your car. Usually if the voltage is 9.6 or higher, everything is ok. If it’s lower than 9.6 volts, it may indicate abnormalities such as ageing or a damaged battery. The battery charge level is recorded everyday and can be formulated into a graph over time so that you can see any trends indicating potential failure coming before it’s too late.

Does the BAINTECH Battery Monitor comply with the NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) vehicle inspection bulletin VIB6?

Yes. The BAINTECH Wireless Battery Monitor is a cost effective wireless monitor that complies with the NSW Roads and Maritime Services requirements;

1. It will be satisfactory if any trailer-mounted battery is constantly charged by the towing vehicle and a warning device is fitted to warn the driver (from the normal driving position) if the trailer battery charge falls to such a level as to render the trailer brakes incapable of meeting the requirements.

2. Trailers required to be fitted with caravan breakaway systems are not registerable if there is no means for maintaining the breakaway energy source in a fully energised condition (for example, if a charging and warning circuit is not fitted).

3. An acceptable warning circuit must incorporate either a visual or an audible warning device.
